About the Art Work

Breathe
This design brings in elements of the ocean and combines it with a sensation that most surfers have probably experienced a few times: the feeling of being trapped underwater and grasping for a breath. We reverse the roles of a human trying to capture a breath under water, and replace it with a fish trying to take a breath out of the water. The idea of taking something for granted that we depend on.
